Turkey Sausage Quiche
1 1/4 C Bisquick
1/4 C Butter, Softened
2 T Boiling Water
1 C Shredded Italian- Style Cheese (I use Cheddar)
1 C Cooked Turkey Sausage
4 Medium Green Onions, Sliced
1 1/2 C Half-and-Half (I use whole milk)
3 Eggs
1 t chopped basil
- Heat oven to 400'. Spray pie pan w/ cooking spray. Stir Bisquick and butter until blended. Add boiling water, stir until soft dough is formed. Press dough into bottom and sides of pie pan.
- Sprinkle cheese, sausage, and onions over crust. Beat half-and-half and eggs until blended. Stir in basil and pour into crust.
- Bake 30-35 minutes or until inserted knife comes out clean. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting to serve.
Make this and I promise you will LOVE it!
That sounds yummy! I'm considering making a couple of breakfast casseroles ahead of time to eat for breakfast during the week to save time. This would be a great recipe to add to my collection. Thanks!
