Starting today, I am back to work for the next few Mondays. This means no more muffin tins, but with busy work weeks and a baby on the way I am going to give menu planning a try! I am starting
Nanny Goat's 30 meal plan and then hope to post my menu for the week along with all the girls over at
Organizing Junkie.

I found this great magnetic weekly meal planner in the dollar bin at
Micheal's. We have been using this for a few weeks and I just love it. Not only does it keep out running grocery list
handy for both of us to write on, but seeing the meals has helped Adam help me take things out of the freezer... two minds are better than one. It also has helped Adam see that if we are
having Mexican for dinner, not to eat it at lunch. This has already saved me so much time and stress just knowing ahead of time what will be cooking!
Monday: King Ranch Chicken (made with roasted chicken from Sunday)
Tuesday: Turkey Taco Salad
Wednesday:
Penne Pasta with
Italian Turkey Sausage
Thursday: Easy Beef
Strogenoff (Sandra Lee)
Friday: On the road to Austin
Saturday: Some place fun in Austin
Sunday: On the road back home
I'm totally gonna try this system. I get tired of deciding what to cook for dinner.
ReplyDeleteMy gosh - you're organized! I always go read the meal planning posts on Mondays - I've gotten so many great ideas!
ReplyDeleteI love how some have WW points, are kid friendly, and even one i saw was for a family whose kids got braces so it was all soft foods!
