So one of the many pluses of living close to family is we have something fun to do almost every weekend... however, it leaves little time to blog. Of course waking up to a view like this will brake a
bloggy addiction real quick!
Even the boys can step away from football for a visit on the deck!
And to make the weekend a real dream come true... after breakfast my
SIL and I headed to
CKC Scrapbook Convention.

Mike was thrilled to be able to feed the deer up close and personal.
Ummm... VERY personal!
And even though a storm was headed our way... we made into the water for a quick swim.
Addy enjoyed watching her brother and cousin, while
relaxing on the shore with a snack.
This is what it is all about... slowing life down, taking life in, and sharing it with people you love. And the
scrappin' later!

WOW-Michael did see deer. I thought it was from afar. I love those pics. Think Adelyn had the best spot-that is where LaLa would have been.
