Peppermint Pie and A Couch Potato
If I saw this picture I would pass right the recipe or the crazy chic swearing it was yummy, but please don't. It is a bad picture, but our new family favorite desert!
Peppermint Ice Cream (2 quarts) softened
Rice Crispies (41/2 cups)
Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips (6 oz)
Hot Fudge or Chocolate Syrup
Crushed peppermints
I am sure you can make it from her, but just in case... melt the chocolate chips and stir in the Rice Crispies. Mold these into the crust in an un greased pie pan. Let it sit in the freezer for five minutes. Next, spread the ice cream on the crust and let it sit in the freezer for two hours. Top it with the chocolate syrup and crushed peppermints.
**note: You just might have to have a family discussion on portion control before this desert!
On a side note... Addy and Daddy watched the Cowboy's game together on Sunday while Mike and I napped and I found this shot on my camera. Gotta love Daddy duty! And not to leave my other cutie out... any time Mike sees any sports on TV now he yells "Go Cowboys!" and looks at his daddy for a shout back and a high five!
Looks soooo gooood...thanks for sharing it...it goes on the list for "must try this"!
